About A+ Aquatics

My name is Laura ‘Pools’ Puleio-Hachey, founder of A+ Aquatics. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State College in Physical Education and Health & Recreation (K-12 teaching certification), with a focus in Movement Education and Cooperative and Competitive Game Play. I have served as a volunteer clinician for the Children’s Physical Development Center with the philosophy of improving the total development of children with disabilities through successful involvement in motor, recreation, sport, and social/emotional activities.

Throughout my 40+ year career as an Aquatics Professional, I have striven to make a difference in peoples’ lives through education with an emphasis on safety in and around all aquatic environments. I also aim to assist in the growth and development of individuals with the benefits of gaining confidence through the improvement of their swimming skills.

My specializations include working with water phobias, stroke development, and deep water exercise. I pride myself in being innovative and creative in my approach to meeting the needs and or challenges of each individual as an individual. No matter your age or level of experience, I believe you can always improve upon your skills.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors, whether it is fishing, kayaking, camping, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, or being on my motorcycle. Living and enjoying life to its fullest!
